I don't know how I missed the banana bread walnut butter! I'm def going to give that one a try, as I constantly have freeze dried fruit on hand thanks to Bravetart!
You could try pepitas, toasted chana or urad dal (get very nutty when you roast it in a skillet over medium heat), coconut flakes, or a mix of them all
I subscribed just to try this nut mix. I love sweet nuts! But something must have gone wrong. There appeared nothing like solids in the butter mix. I used Carnation instant milk powder. I assume you chop the sage, which I did, but when I strained the only thing close to solid was the sage. I poured the entire butter mix onto the nuts and added the salt and pepper. I likely use a bit too much salt. The mix tastes like semi-sweet salty nuts. I'm less than happy with the result.
I needed more than the 5-7 minutes noted to allow the brown butter bits to appear and ended up with a substantial amount. Sorry this happened to you though!
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that! I’ve used Carnation Milk powder before with good results so I’m not sure what happened. Was you sieve fine? Did the mixture get foamy before subsiding then becoming brown?
Hi Sohla! Would non dairy milk powder work for the brown butter but recipe?
I haven’t tried, but imagine it will depend on the mill powder. If you do try it, look for one without gums

everyone missed that one!
Any recommendations for substituting the pistachios in the Ranch Fun Dip for someone with tree nut allergies?
