Made this with a big ol leek instead of onion for some extra greens. Insane. Outstanding. I can’t stop eating it. Thank you Sohla for a warming meal on this freezing evening!

Omfg this is so good😭!!! Swapped the kale for collards, used buffalo sweet Italian sausage, homemade chicken/turkey stock, and chipotle peppers in adobo in the biscuits. I sprinkled a little smoked maldon over the biscuits before I threw ‘em in the oven. This recipe is the truth, the light, and the way. Bring on the snow!❄️

Holy moly this recipe was amazing! Came together so quick and easy, and turned out incredibly delicious. Eating biscuits and gravy while getting to pat myself on the back for eating a cup of kale is a treat 😂 Everyone in my family eagerly went back for seconds and we polished off the whole pan.

This was AMAZING. Perfect comfort dinner on a cold day. The biscuits were so light. Used lacinto kale which added great texture Is it too soon to make it again tomorrow??? I just started my subscription and am so happy i did. 🥰

The description of this recipe in the email newsletter prompted me to subscribe. WORTH IT. I had no fresh chilis on hand so I substituted Adobo powder (Burlap and Barrel) and cayenne and it was lovely. It’s dumpin snow out here in the west and this was the perfect thing to make and eat today. Thank you for the recipe! Can’t wait to explore the site for more!

I have a whole bunch of broccoli stems leftover from baby meal prep (she only eats the florets as a finger food) that i’m going to peel and dice and use in place of the kale. i’ll let you know how it goes

it worked great. i sweated the broccoli, same weight as the kale, with the onions and garlic. it ended up still intact but but very soft. probably i could have added it at the end like the kale and saved myself the very full pan

If only I had not promised not to do any more cooking until I cleared the Christmas soup, hoppin john, roast red curry and lime chicken from the freezer. It’s early so the next snow storm that hits Boston this has to be on the cooki
